Andersonville Flag Placement Service Project

Posted by GarySparks on 26th May 2007

Andersonville May 2007

On Saturday May 26, 2007, members of Troop 170 met at Forest Hills UMC.  We left at 7:00am and went to Andersonville National Cemetery.  We put our American Flags on the graves to honor soldiers who died in war.  While we were putting flags down we saw a Copperhead snake.  One of the Rangers captured him and relocated him.  Then we all went to the museum and then we ate lunch and got back to Macon at 11:30am.

 Respectfully submitted,

G.H. Troop Co-Historian
