At this campout, the Venture Crew was able to shoot shotguns or climb and rappel while the other patrol climbed, rappelled or fished. When we got there it started raining while we put up our tents. There was no sign of Issac (the dog we met the last time there) the whole weekend.

When we got to Camp Lawhorn the camp director told us which campsite to go to. He had a dog named Ghost. While going to the campsite, a dog named Isaac followed us. The camp director told us that Isaac was a thief. We found that out later after Isaac stole some bread from the other patrol. We set up camp Friday night and went to bed. When we woke up Saturday morning, we had breakfast and went repelling. There was a 60 ft tower that also had a 48-foot high skid. After repelling, we had lunch. Following lunch, we got ready for the canoeing trip down the Flint River. The trip was too short, only about an hour long. After the canoeing trip, some of us had a home run derby. Later we had a fire-building contest. M.G., S.H., and T.Y. won the competition. Once the fire building competition was over, we made dinner. During the campfire we retired 8 American flags. The campout was so much fun it seemed short.
